Q. Do minibuses come with a driver?

A. All minibuses and coaches are provided for hire by Connections UK with a PCV driver.

Q. Will the driver stop to let me go to the toilet?

A. All drivers make designated toilet stops/comfort breaks en-route but they are NOT allowed to stop on the road side or hard shoulder. To make your journey more comfortable please allow for this.

Q. Can I smoke in the hire vehicle?

A. No, sorry due to the law brought in on 1st July, 2007 all our minibuses are non-smoking vehicles and this is strictly adhered to. You may smoke at the designated comfort breaks stops that are made during the journey.

Q. Will the driver stop of at various locations on the way home?

A. Unfortunately unless stipulated at the time of booking, other than comfort breaks, the driver will only make designated stops as stated on the booking form.

Q. Do I have to wear a seatbelt as I find it uncomfortable?

A. Yes, a seatbelt must be worn as this is current legislation and is strictly adhered to on all our vehicles.

Q. Can I change my booking once my booking is secured and will there be any costs incurred?

A. We can change times of pick up and return with notice but there could be extra costs if times are unreasonable hours, or if a larger vehicle is required. If extra costs are incurred by yourselves, we will inform you of how much at the time of change. There may be times when we are unable to change times of pick up and return but you will be notified of this immediately.

Q. If one of my group makes a mess what will I be charged?

A. The person who reserved and booked the vehicle is responsible for the payment of fees for damage or actions that require the vehicle to be cleaned. A minimum fee of £100 is charged to cover cleaning costs incurred.

Q. Can I pay by cheque?

A. Cheques are accepted and must be made payable to Connections UK. They must be received a minimum of 2 weeks before departure date. If a cheque is not cleared through our banking system then your booking will automatically be cancelled and a fee will be charged to recuperate costs incurred.

Q. If I book a trip, and then cancel do I get my deposit back?

A. No, once a deposit is paid this is confirmation of booking and secures your reservation and as the deposit covers administrations costs and is non-refundable.

Q. If I am unhappy with my transport can I make a complaint and is it taken seriously?

A. Yes any complaint is taken serious. Any complaints regarding the service provided by the Company should, in the first instance, be taken up with a company employee in an attempt to resolve the matter. Failing satisfactory outcome, PLEASE INFORM our Head Office within 24 HOURS of the journey or as soon as is practicable.
